Charook Pantoffel Voll – Leather Slippers, Dark Brown

The Pantoffel Voll is the smooth-leather version of our house shoe — grained dark brown goat leather instead of suede.

Smooth leather wipes clean and does not attract dust, which makes the Voll the more practical of the two house shoes. The shape is identical: closed, slightly turned-up toe, open heel, pale piping at the opening and a flat leather sole with a visible hand seam. Inside sits soft lamb leather that warms the foot without packing it in.

Material

The shoe is 100 % leather: a buffalo-leather outsole, a lamb-leather lining and a goat-leather outer shell. The leather is untreated and natural. Goat leather lets the feet breathe, so no bad odours build up and the foot stays cool — which is why these shoes stay comfortable over long days.

Fit and size

Slippers are worn open and run rather generously. Stick with your usual size; if you want to wear them with socks, go up one. The leather gives after a few days and shapes itself to the foot.

Care

The leather is untreated and natural. Wipe off dust with a dry, soft cloth and work in a colourless leather conditioner from time to time. Never machine wash and never dry on a radiator — let the shoes air at room temperature.
