Charook Classic Beige – Handmade Leather Shoes, Beige

The Classic in warm beige — the plainest model in the range and, for that reason, the one that goes with almost everything.

Its signature is the fine pale cross seam over the toe cap: decoration that also joins cap to upper. The V-shaped opening gives the instep air and the heel is softly worked, so nothing rubs. In beige the model reads almost like a ballet flat and can be worn barefoot in summer, with thin socks in winter.

Material

The shoe is 100 % leather: a buffalo-leather outsole, a lamb-leather lining and a goat-leather outer shell. The leather is untreated and natural. Goat leather lets the feet breathe, so no bad odours build up and the foot stays cool — which is why these shoes stay comfortable over long days.

Fit and size

Natural leather stretches slightly over the first few days and moulds to your foot. We recommend your usual size; go up one if you have a high instep or a wide foot. The sole is flat and flexible — you feel the ground without giving up a protective layer of leather.

Care

The leather is untreated and natural. Wipe off dust with a dry, soft cloth and work in a colourless leather conditioner from time to time. Never machine wash and never dry on a radiator — let the shoes air at room temperature.
