The narrow sibling of the Boot Breit: a calf-high lace-up boot in deep black that sits close to the leg and reads noticeably more feminine.

The lacing runs the full height of the shaft and can be adjusted section by section from instep to calf — useful for slim calves, where boots so often gape. The grained leather is matt and untreated, so a patina of its own develops over time. The flat buffalo-leather sole makes the boot quieter and lighter than comparable rubber-soled models.

Material

The shoe is 100 % leather: a buffalo-leather outsole, a lamb-leather lining and a goat-leather outer shell. The leather is untreated and natural. Goat leather lets the feet breathe, so no bad odours build up and the foot stays cool — which is why these shoes stay comfortable over long days.

Fit and size

Natural leather stretches slightly over the first few days and moulds to your foot. We recommend your usual size; go up one if you have a high instep or a wide foot. The sole is flat and flexible — you feel the ground without giving up a protective layer of leather.

Care

The leather is untreated and natural. Wipe off dust with a dry, soft cloth and work in a colourless leather conditioner from time to time. Never machine wash and never dry on a radiator — let the shoes air at room temperature.
